Welcome to the Demard Lab
The Demard lab is located in the Department of Biology at Utah State University.
We explore questions related to the biology and management of economically important insects and mites to support sustainable management of pests in Utah. We work with a diverse range of crops, including tree fruit (apple, peach, tart cherry), vegetables (squash and onion), and small fruit (strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry).
We mainly conduct applied research in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings to update IPM recommendations.
